Charles (Charlie) Stiernberg is a physician, ordained minister, author, and speaker, but above all he is merely a Christian who loves spreading the word of Jesus Christ. After graduating from medical school in 1978, Dr. Stiernberg practiced medicine for more than forty years as both a private practitioner and medical school professor. During this time, he also earned a master’s degree in business and held several administrative roles in healthcare. Although God initially called him to medicine, by mid-career he began to sense the Spirit leading him in a new direction. In 2020, he responded to that call and began the path toward ordination in the Episcopal Church. After completing his studies, he was ordained in June of 2023. He now serves as Deacon at Church of St. John the Divine in Houston, Texas. Whether in personal conversation, public speaking, from the pulpit, or through his writings, Dr. Stiernberg is passionate about sharing the Gospel.
